At midnight tonight, we'll close our books on our fundraising for the year and then submit a report to the FEC. After that, our numbers will become public and everyone—reporters, our opponents, even Donald Trump himself—will be able to see our numbers. Republican Super PACs could see our fundraising and decide whether or not to spend against Alexandria based on how strong they perceive our campaign to be. In 2020, this was the second most expensive House race in the country—our opponent raised and spent more than $10 million. So we need to be prepared. We will never try to scare you into donating.
