  | Jason, Every single day, I'm hearing from people like you who are enraged by Donald Trump. Rightfully so. I am too. Donald Trump has driven our country off the cliff. He's personally igniting crisis after crisis, and the cowards he surrounds himself with are only enabling him. Just over 100 days into his presidency, Republicans in Congress have proven they won't stand up to Trump — or stand up for Americans. In fact, they're putting health care on the chopping block for 80 million Americans just to give a tax handout to Trump's billionaire friends. We can't just sit by and watch it happen. We're organizing. We're fighting back. We've just launched our "Fight to Save Medicaid" month of action to put vulnerable House Republicans on notice in case they think they can get away with ripping health care away from their own constituents. Specifically, we're targeting four vulnerable Republicans — Tom Barrett (MI-07), Don Bacon (NE-02), Mike Lawler (NY-17), and Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01). These Republicans need to understand something: the price for this vote is their job. And we're going to deliver that message loud and clear: in town halls, by urging voters to contact their representatives, and through constant pressure and accountability. Our representatives must serve the people — not ignore them — and certainly not harm them. Republicans will either learn that lesson now or at the ballot box. I'll leave you with a few other updates on Democrats' work: Over the last few months, we've told you about the lawsuits we've filed against Trump. We recently got a big win, as a U.S. District Court judge blocked key parts of Trump's illegal executive order that attempts to undermine our elections. Without this decision, many Americans across the country — including married women who changed their last name — could have been unable to register to vote. We recently announced a $1 million monthly investment in our state parties — an investment unlike anything Democrats have done in modern times. Elections are won in states and that's exactly where we'll be investing our resources. Our work isn't just about organizing to fight back against Trump. | Jason, I've said from day one that Democrats need to be willing to go everywhere to talk to voters. So over the weekend, I went on Fox News to do just that.  First, I laid out the facts: Trump said he would have a booming economy, but the economy has shrunk. There is a high likelihood that we are heading toward a recession. Leading financial experts are saying that a recession is our country's best case. At the same time, Trump is putting forward a budget that is going to decimate the American family. That budget will cut health care, destroy early childhood education, and take warm food away from kids — all to give a tax break to the richest people in this country. Instead of fighting for — or even listening to — the people they were elected to represent, congressional Republicans are capitulating to Trump at every turn. So here was my message to Fox News watchers: If Republicans won't do their jobs, Democrats will. In the last six weeks alone, Democrats have held more than 100 town halls in over 45 states, because Republicans have refused to listen to their own constituents. We are showing working people in every corner of the country that we stand with them. Of course, we're resisting Trump with every fiber — but we're also showing folks that we're on a mission to improve their lives. That's why we're continuing to hold town halls across the country. It's why we're investing $1 million a month into our state parties. It's why we've recently launched a War Room to get our message out. And it's why I went on Fox this weekend.
