Jason, I grew up in public housing on the west side of Savannah, Georgia. I had 11 brothers and sisters -- and while my family was short on money, we were long on love and faith.
My parents showed me the meaning of hard work -- and always told us kids we could do anything we put our minds to. It's that very spirit that led me to become the first in my family to earn a college degree. And now, it's the lesson I'm taking with me into the runoff election for Georgia's Senate seat.
But I can't do it alone, Jason. We've all got to roll up our sleeves and get to work. I know that we have what it takes to win this race and make history once again here in Georgia. It'll take a tremendous amount of resources, especially when we're short on time. That's why I'm asking:
Will you please split a $10 contribution between my campaign and the DNC to help keep this seat blue, defeat Herschel Walker, and support Democrats across the nation? We can't win without the support of this grassroots team.
