Hi Jason, As the DNC's grassroots fundraising director, I have the privilege of hearing from supporters all over the country. People are always asking me when the best time to donate is -- I'm here to tell you that it's right now. Here's why: It may not be 2024 yet, but there's so much work ahead of us to build the infrastructure we'll need to win elections this year, next year, and beyond. Right now, Democrats are focused on building on the meaningful progress we've already made, like making historic investments in our nation's infrastructure and taking critical steps to address climate change. Meanwhile, the GOP presidential candidates are promising to undo that progress while competing to see who can be the most extreme. At all levels of government, MAGA Republicans are pushing harmful policies and agendas that are at odds with Americans' wants and needs. That means that we've got our work cut out for us -- and right now, as we look ahead to 2023 and 2024 elections, we need all the support we can get to elect Democrats nationwide. We say it a lot, Jason, but a $7 contribution today goes a lot further than a $7 contribution right before Election Day -- by pitching in now, you're helping us lay the critical groundwork to elect Democrats up and down the ballot. So I'm asking: Can you make your first contribution this year to support the DNC's work? To be honest, Jason, our progress is at risk. Republicans are pushing a vision of our country that disregards the voices of millions of Americans. That's why it's so important we prepare now to defend the progress we've made and keep fighting for more. When you donate to the DNC, that's exactly what you're helping us do. You are making an investment in protecting fundamental rights, making more progress on issues from protecting key services like Social Security and Medicare to lowering everyday costs, all while defending our democracy. So when we say your support right now is critical, Jason, we really mean it. You can pitch in right here to help. Thank you for your support, Erin Erin Conway Grassroots Fundraising Director Democratic National Committee |
