Hi Jason, We're already at the last day of January. Wow -- what a whirlwind start to the new year. Over the last few weeks, it's become clearer than ever that we must build up the resources now to be able to defeat Donald Trump and MAGA extremists across the country and elect Democrats up and down the ballot in November. Now, we're just a few hours away from our first fundraising deadline of 2024 and we're making a big push to close out the month strong. In a minute I'm going to ask you to help us reach our goal of adding 25,000 contributions before the clock strikes midnight. But first let me explain why your support is more important than ever. I want to start by emphasizing that this team showed up strong this month! Thank you for your support -- it means the world to us here at the DNC and makes a huge difference nationwide. This is a grassroots team, so we can't succeed without an effort from every single member of our base. But Jason, the presidency is on the line this year, and with Donald Trump all but confirmed to receive the nomination, we simply cannot afford to fall behind on our fundraising goals or let our momentum slip. We need to make sure we have the resources to not only defeat Trump in November, but ensure his MAGA allies running at all levels of government don't win, either. Our democracy, our fundamental rights, our access to affordable health care, and more are all on the line this year. That's why I have to ask: Can you pitch in $7 right now to help us reach our goal of adding an additional 25,000 contributions before midnight? It's the last day to meet our January fundraising goal and we have to scale up our efforts now if we're going to win big this November. With this grassroots team on our side, I know we can reach our goal and even surpass it. By stepping up today, you'll not only help us end the month strong, but you'll demonstrate that you're on the right side of history: the side fighting for our nation's progress. So, Jason, will you help us reach our critical goal by pitching in $7 today? Thank you for your continued support. Sam Sam Cornale Executive Director Democratic National Committee |
