Humbled. Invigorated. Jason, these are just a few words to describe how I’m feeling after winning my primary to become the official Democratic Senate nominee for the great state of Kansas. I got into this race because I was fed up with watching politicians in Washington make decisions that harmed the people and communities I love. And you know what I’ve learned over several months on the campaign trail? A lot of others are fed up, too. People are ready for change. Ready for leaders who will put people over politics. Ready for a senator who will actually listen and bring people together to solve our problems.
