Jason, the DNC can’t launch any more ads before Election Day.

I’m Lizzie, Digital Ads Director at the DNC. As of Tuesday, my team and I are barred from launching new ads on Facebook or Instagram in the precious 5 days before Election Day. It’s a big deal!

I’ll explain why this is so consequential, but first, let me ask: This blackout will make it even harder for the DNC to hit our final fundraising goal before the midterms. Can you chip in $7 to this email to help us catch up?

So here’s the deal: Meta prohibits political candidates and committees from launching ads in the final week before Election Day. That rule severely limits the DNC’s ability to reach the voters who will cast deciding ballots in just a few days. It also kneecaps our ability to respond to breaking news and get the word out if Trump is scheming to interfere with free and fair elections this year.

But that’s not all. It also puts a ceiling on our ability to raise the cash we need to support our army of volunteers in key battlegrounds. These are some of the folks who will win this whole thing for Democrats everywhere, and they’re counting on us.

Look, Republicans have close to a BILLION dollars and a cabal of robber barons ready to cut them more checks in the eleventh hour. Meanwhile, we rely on supporters like you to fund our work 5, 50, or even 100 bucks at a time.

Candidly, Jason, donations to Facebook and Instagram ads make up 24% of the DNC’s digital fundraising (with an average gift of $32!). And with our hands tied on those platforms, we need to shift gears and overperform on email. Trust me, we really hate to ask more of you, but we could use some help from our top supporters right now.

We’re not going to let MAGA wannabe kingmakers have the last word in these elections. I hope you’ll join us to help beat Republicans and their billionaire donors.

I’m turning to you and personally asking you to chip in $7 to the DNC to support Democratic get-out-the-vote efforts and help us take back Congress this year:

If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly.

We’ll use your gift to knock on every door, make every call, and mobilize every pissed-off American we can before the last poll closes.

I can’t thank you enough for stepping up. With deep gratitude,

Lizzie Green

Digital Ads Director

If you gave recently via check or mail, our system may not have yet processed your gift. We are appreciative and thank you greatly for your support.

Jason, we’re building the largest midterm operation in DNC history to take back control of Congress this November, but we need your help right now.

Your donation today will help fund our work to register new Democrats in battleground states, organize everywhere, and win everywhere.
