San Diego and Los Angeles

This week, Donald Trump suggested an attack on San Diego or Los Angeles would be a “small price to pay” in the war against Iran.

Californians' lives are not expendable in Donald Trump's unhinged, reckless war in Iran.

This is yet another callous comment from the tyrant in the White House who dragged the American people into a war that we do not want.

This is a war that has jacked up the price of gas over 50% while folks are already hurting.

It is also important to remember that, during the campaign, Donald Trump promised to end wars rather than start them. It was a lie.

Then last year, he said we “obliterated” Iran’s nuclear program. That was a lie too.

He said he would bring down prices on Day One. Another lie.

Now he has the gall to belittle the sacrifices Americans are being forced to make due to his complete and utter failure to make life more affordable.

In reality, we are all paying the price for the fact that Trump cares more about what is in his own best interest than what is in the best interest of the working people of America.

Trump's recklessness is needlessly putting our brave servicemembers in harm's way, destroying America's global standing, and making life even more unaffordable for the American people.

And he has no plan and no strategy for how to end this conflict.

However: We have an opportunity at this moment. Now is the time where we can do something powerful. We can change the course of our country in just 27 days.

The midterm elections are where we can put a check on Trump’s callous and careless administration.

That means the work we have in front of us for the next 27 days is clear: We have to get out and support leaders across the country who will fight for the people.
