Jason, as we saw this past week at the RNC, Trump and his campaign are looking for any opportunity to attack Joe, me, and the campaign we're all building together.
This first public fundraising deadline of the general election is our opportunity to show just how fired up Democrats are to win up and down the ballot in November.
But if we are outraised by Trump and Pence, they will be able to spin up a narrative that we lack the momentum we need to win.
And beyond that, it’s about more than hitting a deadline goal. We have so few days left in this campaign that any day we go without the resources we need to compete is a day we could fall behind.
If we’re going to reach the voters we need to win, we’re counting on more grassroots donors from New Jersey digging deep and making their next donation before midnight tonight.
