Hi Jason -- I wanted to reach out because I know it has been a long few weeks. While it has not been easy, this team has been a source of so much hope for so many in this difficult moment.
We saw an outpouring of activism following the Supreme Court's decision overturning Roe. This team made tens of thousands of calls into states the weekend following the decision. And over 9,000 folks made a donation to help elect Democrats and defend choice.
I cannot overstate just how important that level of support is in this moment, Jason.
But, as we all know, our work cannot stop here. The Supreme Court's decision was the result of a decades-long campaign by Republicans to strip Americans of the right to choose. Our fight to protect choice this year needs to be just as relentless and methodical.
Together, we must mobilize voters to support Democrats in every race we possibly can. We also have to bring many more folks into the fold before November. The DNC is hard at work, so I hope you'll take a minute to read about it and learn more about how you can get involved:
-
Our party hosted a national volunteer strategy call with Vice President Harris, made tens of thousands of calls to support voter registration efforts, and kicked off a national volunteer text campaign. We also created an online volunteer hub for folks to learn how to take action in their state. If you'd like to support our work and the work of Democrats nationwide in the coming weeks, visit DefendChoice.org to find a way to get involved.

The DNC is investing millions in protecting Democratic governors and state legislative majorities that will act as barriers to potential GOP efforts to pass abortion bans. In states like Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, the DNC funds on-the-ground staff focused on communications, organizing, data, voter protection, and coalitions that will support Democrats. Stay up to date on the DNC's latest work by signing up for texts today.

The DNC is providing support to state Democratic parties in traditionally Republican-controlled states through a first-of-its-kind "Red State Fund." A number of these states have trigger bans designed to take effect when Roe was overturned, and DNC funding provides a critical baseline for supporting Democratic leaders as we fight back. Turning red states blue doesn't happen by accident. We're counting on your support to make those investments possible and support Democrats nationwide. Chip in $7 today to support the DNC's Red State Fund.
The DNC is making significant investments in long-term party building to elect Democratic leaders up and down the ballot nationwide because governors, attorneys general, and state legislatures are critical backstops for protecting abortion rights.
It's going to be a long, hard road ahead. But with the full backing of this grassroots team, I know that anything is possible. If you can, consider donating $7 -- or whatever makes sense for you -- to the DNC today.
Thank you for your support. It will make all the difference this year and in years to come.
Jess
