How many of the DNC's donations do you think come from grassroots donors giving $15, $30, or $50? You may think it's barely over 50%, maybe even a little lower.
Well, Jason, the answer is 98%. Yep, 98% of the donations given to the DNC -- the funding that helps our party hire organizers, improve voter outreach, and helps fight for working families -- comes from grassroots donors just like yourself, chipping in what they can to the party they support.
In fact, our average online gift is $30 -- yes, just $30! Even more impressive, the most frequent occupation of our supporters is teacher. That's right -- teachers are some of the most likely to chip in to support President Biden and the work our party is doing to elect Democrats. Just take a look:
The bottom line is that this grassroots team is made up of people from all different backgrounds and walks of life. A lot of those folks are giving what they can because they believe in this party and the work Democrats are doing for this nation.
And when this support is continuous -- folks donating and investing what they can, when they can -- that ensures Democrats have the tools and resources they need to keep making incredible progress.
Will you join the 98,000 Democrats who have already renewed their support by donating $7? Whether it's $15, $30, or more, it truly makes a difference.
Thanks,
Lauren
