"All public service is a trust, given in faith and accepted in honor." Those are the words inscribed over the front door of the Finance Building in Harrisburg, where I began my career in public service as Pennsylvania's Auditor General. But they're so much more than words to me, Jason. They're an ethos I carry with me while representing Pennsylvania in Washington, and they're guiding my re-election campaign to the U.S. Senate. To help me defend this seat in Pennsylvania -- one of the most competitive and expensive battlegrounds in the country -- and to elect more Democrats up and down the ballot, split a $10 donation between my re-election campaign and the DNC today. As a U.S. Senator, I am reminded every day of the trust that has been placed in me to fight for what is right. I work to earn that trust by standing up for families: against extreme Republican attacks on Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid; against tax cuts for the ultra-rich; against countries like China that threaten our jobs with unfair trade practices; and against big health care companies raising costs for working families. With so much on the line, I'm running for re-election to continue fighting for working families, but I need your support, Jason. With gratitude, Bob Bob Casey U.S. Senator, Pennsylvania Paid for by the Democratic National Committee and authorized by Sen. Bob Casey's campaign. (PA-Sen) |
