And since then, the need to help our friends and neighbors has only grown. I'm a military mom and educator first and foremost, so I understand the added challenges the pandemic has caused families nationwide. That's why Joe's American Rescue Plan goes beyond one initiative, providing direct relief to families, expanding access to child care, increasing the child tax credit, and so much more. But passing the American Rescue Plan was just step one, Jason. If we are going to build a better future for families across America, we must expand our majorities by electing more Democrats who will fight for children and families.
