Hi Jason -- I'm not about to ask you for money. This email is just a message to say thank you. We're a few days away from 2024, and less than a year away from one of the most important presidential elections of all time. I want to thank you for a groundbreaking year. The stakes have never been higher, and this team really stepped up to secure big wins and continue building this grassroots team from the ground up. Here's a recap of some of our biggest wins and milestones, all made possible by your dedicated support. We appreciate you, Jason, for helping us end this year on a high note. It will truly take each and every member of this team pitching in to elect Democrats up and down the ballot in 2024, so we're glad to have you on board: - Democrats overperformed the partisan lean by an average of nearly 10 percent in 38 special elections held this year, from Wisconsin to Virginia, New Hampshire, and beyond.
- In November, voters across the country -- from Virginia to Kentucky to Pennsylvania to Ohio -- rejected MAGA Republicans' extreme anti-abortion agenda.
- President Biden, Vice President Harris, and the Democratic Party invested historic amounts in races across the country to help secure these wins, underlining the fact that when we roll up our sleeves, put in the work, and make our case to voters, we win. For instance, in Kentucky, by investing over $3 million in the Kentucky Democratic Party's coordinated campaign to support Governor Beshear and other Democrats, we were able to mobilize voters by making over 300,000 combined calls and texts.
What do these wins tell us, Jason? That the American people have repeatedly embraced an agenda that focuses on lowering costs, investing in infrastructure, creating jobs, safeguarding freedoms, and building the economy from the bottom up and the middle out -- and they're rejecting the MAGA extremism that Trump and the entire 2024 GOP field are running on. Big changes are possible when we band together and invest in our party. Thank you for stepping up and making these milestones possible. To more progress in 2024 and beyond, Grace Sheehan Donor Cultivation Director Democratic National Committee |
