This is Alexandria’s eighth back-to-school drive and we’re coming to you with an important ask:
As we wrap up hosting backpack and school supplies distributions throughout NY-14, will you chip in $8 to help us fully cover the costs of this year’s backpack drive? Let us explain:
We’re currently just over 50% of the way towards reaching our fundraising goal to fully cover the costs of this year’s back-to-school backpack drive.
Every student should start the school year with the supplies they need to learn and grow.
Over the years, Alexandria has teamed up with NYC public housing developments, community organizations, and more to give thousands of kids a strong start to the school year with supplies and a backpack.
Initiatives like this one are only possible because of thousands of people chipping in what they can.
