I’m proud to endorse Angie Nixon for Senate.
I’d like to share more about why I am supporting Angie but first: please split a contribution between our campaigns today.
Angie Nixon is a Florida State Representative, union organizer, and mother. She was born and raised in Jacksonville and has dedicated her career to the fight for hardworking Floridians.
Angie knows what’s at stake because she’s lived it — watching her mom work two jobs to get by, attending underfunded public schools. She brought that lived experience to the Florida State House, where she expanded childcare and fought against price gouging.
Angie did not secure the Democratic nomination by yielding to major political machines; she did it by building community and fiercely committing to her values.
She won despite being outspent 16:1 in the primary.
Now, on November 3rd, Angie Nixon will be up against incumbent Republican Senator Ashley Moody — a rubber stamp for Trump’s agenda. Ashley Moody is an extremist who voted to expand funding for ICE and for cuts to Medicaid under Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill. She also introduced a piece of legislation aimed at restricting access to reproductive healthcare.
Angie has 60 days left to reach and turn out millions of voters up and down Florida. Her campaign needs the resources for sending mailers, running ads, paying staff and more.
Like me, Angie rejects all corporate PAC donations, so she’s truly counting on our grassroots support to win.
Angie can win. But only if we all get behind her. Let’s do this.
