Jason,
If there's one thing you should know about me, it's this: My values are shaped by where I come from.
Folks who come from places like where I do face challenges that most people don't even realize. The issues we face aren't abstract -- and they're not some political game, either.
When I'm spending 16 hours on a tractor, it gives me the opportunity to sort through those issues in solitude.
I'm thinking about climate change and the catastrophic droughts we're seeing on farms like mine. I'm thinking about the rural towns near mine that need access to high-speed internet.
And over the last couple of weeks especially, I'm thinking about a woman's right to make her own medical decisions and how politics interferes with that choice.
These aren't just talking points. They're very real issues that deserve our attention -- and more importantly, folks deserve solutions. I'm fighting for those solutions every day in Washington, but I'll need your help to keep it up.
The end-of-quarter fundraising deadline is next week, and as one of the most vulnerable senators up for reelection, I need your immediate support as we work to build the strongest possible campaign. Control of the U.S. Senate could come down to this race, so I have to ask: Can you split $10 between my campaign and the DNC to help us hit our end-of-quarter fundraising goals and to support Democrats like myself running for office in 2023, 2024, and beyond?
I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate your support.
Jon
