President Biden is taking action to reduce gun violence and save lives.
Just last year, he brought together Democrats and Republicans to pass the first significant gun safety law in nearly 30 years.
And over the past two years, President Biden has taken more executive action to reduce gun violence than any other president at this point in their presidency.
Now, he's taking another critical step forward. Earlier this week, President Biden traveled to Monterey Park, California -- one community on the growing list of those that are forever changed due to gun violence -- to announce an Executive Order.
President Biden's order will help move the U.S. as close to universal background checks as possible without additional legislation, strengthen efforts to hold the gun industry accountable, and accelerate law enforcement efforts to identify and apprehend the shooters menacing our communities. Just take a look at what he said:
President Biden and this team have accomplished a lot together. To keep making progress, we must elect more Democrats nationwide and bring an end to this gun violence epidemic.
Will you chip in $7 to the DNC today to help elect more Democrats across the country who are committed to fighting back against gun violence?
