Ted Cruz recently went on Fox News to call me a 'parasite' and disparaged my work as a bartender:
Ted Cruz’s disdain for people with working-class jobs is no secret.
It’s not a secret what he thinks of waitresses, line cooks — he thinks we’re less than him.
Ted Cruz thinks that because he has a Harvard degree and has never scrubbed a table, that makes him better than someone who’s actually had to work for a living.
It’s funny that he’s been taking a government paycheck for 23 years, but has the audacity to criticize someone who had to work their way up and earn their place in Congress.
I’m running for election in fierce advocacy of working class Americans because we can make a new world, a better country, where we fight for the dignity of all people.
