Jason --
Earlier this week, a jury in Minnesota found former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin guilty of murdering George Floyd. This verdict is a step forward for accountability -- but there's still work to be done in the names of George Floyd, Daunte Wright, Breonna Taylor, and countless others.
We must do more. President Biden and Vice President Harris are calling on the Senate to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, which will fundamentally transform policing in America by addressing implicit biases and racial profiling, curbing police brutality, and enforcing accountability.
We cannot wait another moment to do what is necessary to ensure a better, safer future for our children and the nation. Read more about how you can get involved →
Demand reform: Call your senator
House Democrats passed the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act last month. It's past time for Senate Republicans to join Democrats and follow suit. This legislation would ban chokeholds, end qualified immunity for law enforcement, ban no-knock warrants in federal drug cases, and create a nationwide police misconduct registry.

Do your part: Get vaccinated
As of April 19, every adult in America is eligible to receive their COVID-19 vaccination.
Over 200 million vaccines have been administered since President Biden took office, which means the administration has reached its goal of 200 million doses administered in their first 100 days in office ahead of schedule.
We're making progress, but we're still in a race against this virus. Getting vaccinated is the most important thing you can do to help protect your community and get our economy back on track. If you haven't already, do your part to help end this pandemic by getting your vaccine.
Infrastructure, jobs, and the economy
President Biden and Vice President Harris are continuing to travel across the country sharing the news of the American Jobs Plan. It will be the biggest jobs investment our country has made since World War II and will ensure good-paying jobs for Americans doing important, purpose-driven work.
From highways and bridges to broadband and clean drinking water -- there's a lot in this plan. That's why President Biden asked Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg to break it down for us:
Join the DNC's Week of Action
Next Thursday, April 29, will be President Biden and Vice President Harris's 100th day in office. To celebrate, we here at the DNC are launching a week of action starting Monday and continuing through next Friday.
We're working alongside thousands of supporters to highlight the successes of the Biden-Harris administration's first 100 days -- including the passage of the American Rescue Plan, the rollout of the American Jobs Plan, and much more. Here's how you can get involved:
- Join a phone bank: Make calls to fellow Democrats to ensure they know just how important their support has been in these first 100 days of the Biden-Harris administration.
- Host a virtual watch party: President Joe Biden will address lawmakers in a joint session of Congress on Wednesday, delivering his first remarks to both chambers nearly 100 days after taking office. Join Democratic supporters across the country in hosting a virtual watch party.
