We are facing a historic assault on voting rights across the country spearheaded by Republicans.

Earlier today, the Senate Republicans stalled S. 1 -- the For the People Act. The bill aimed to fight big money in politics, expand voting rights, end extreme partisan gerrymandering, and more. It's no surprise that Mitch McConnell and his flunkies blocked this bill in the Senate. While Democrats know that our democracy works best when every eligible citizen participates, McConnell and the lawmakers in his party only care about one thing: Themselves. But, folks, we're not backing down. The DNC is already working to protect votes and voices day and night -- we're operating a 24/7 voter protection hotline, fighting anti-voter laws in court, organizing in GOP-dominated states, and so much more.
