One hundred years ago, my ancestors arrived in the great city of Atlanta, Georgia on a horse and buggy seeking a better life. Deprived of opportunity simply due to the color of their skin, they persisted and built a strong foundation through hope for a better future.
As the city's mayor, I've made it my mission to improve the lives of generations to come. Because, as Democrats, we know that our present can shape someone's future. Democratic leaders and local leaders all across the country have stepped up in ways previously unimaginable over the past two years.
We have witnessed the power of municipal action against national issues of public health, social injustice, and economic well-being. And now it's up to us to keep up that progress by electing more Democrats in 2021, 2022, and beyond.
The DNC is the sole party organization tasked with electing Democrats from the school board to the Senate in the years ahead. We're running critical organizing, voter protection, and data programs that Democrats running for office all over the country are counting on.
Will you chip in $7, or even a few dollars, to help elect Democratic candidates up and down the ballot? Your contribution can carry forward the change we hope to see for future generations.
Thanks for all you do,
Keisha
