Jason -- This past weekend, I joined with DNC members all across our country and abroad for the DNC's Fall Meeting. I love these DNC meetings, because they give me the chance to share with our hundreds of members exactly what this team is up to and where we're going next. Because you're a dedicated member of this grassroots team, I wanted to share what I said at the meeting directly with you, too. In the past nine months, President Biden and Democrats have delivered big for families everywhere. The American Rescue Plan put shots in arms, checks in pockets, and invested much needed money into communities across the nation. We're also on the verge of the largest investment in our infrastructure and working families since the New Deal. All of that is because of this team, Jason. You worked hard to elect President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Democrats at every level. You had hope for a better future -- hope that with the president's leadership, we really could build back better. Now, you've probably heard me talk about how hope has always played a big role in my life. Growing up in Orangeburg, South Carolina, sometimes it was all we could afford. But there's one thing my grandmother has always said: Jaime, people aren't looking for a handout, they're just looking for a hand up. As Democrats, we are committed to being on the right side of history. We hoped for what this country could be. And we're proving that Democrats are always there to give a hand up. But to keep it up in 2022 and 2024, we have to retain our majorities in Congress and make big gains at the state and local level. That means staying focused. It means working together to advance President Biden and Vice President Harris's agenda. It means asking yourself, with every little thing you do: Am I making the Democratic Party stronger?
