When we say that next year's House and Senate races are going to be close, we mean it. Just take a look at one of the latest polls on which party Americans think should control the U.S. House of Representatives:
Quinnipiac University
October 1-4, 2021
Republicans 47% (+3)
Democrats 44%
With the support of this grassroots team, we held the House and flipped the Senate last cycle. But with so many races polling with razor-thin margins, we can't afford to take our foot off the gas now.
Will you make a $7 donation to the DNC today to help lay the groundwork that Democrats will rely on for victory? Whatever you're able to give will go a long way towards electing Democrats in 2022 and beyond.
The DNC is making our earliest and largest midterm investments ever to protect and expand our slim congressional majorities. That means investing in grassroots infrastructure, on-the-ground organizing, and voter protection so that we can fight back against the GOP and elect Democrats across the country. But none of these plans are possible without your support.
Here's the thing, Jason: If we lose just five seats in the House or if Mitch McConnell flips one Senate seat in the Senate, all of the progress we've made so far will be at risk. The work we're able to do together right now could determine if we're able to keep building back better. So I'm asking:
Can I count on you to give $7 to the DNC today to help make early investments in critical battleground states and expand the map for Democrats in 2021, 2022, and beyond?
Thanks for being part of this team,
Alana
