Hey Team, it's Roger, the DNC's Deputy Executive Director.
I just checked in with our fundraising team. At our current rate, we could fall short of our fundraising goal by Tuesday's end-of-month deadline.
I know you're a dedicated Democrat, so I hate to bother you about our deadline, especially before a holiday weekend. But as the sole organization tasked with winning races from the school board to the Senate nationwide, the DNC simply cannot afford to fall behind.
Our party is making crucial investments in Democratic success ahead of November's midterm elections. Will you donate $7 to the DNC before Tuesday's deadline? We need 122 more folks from Metuchen to step up.
At this point in the cycle, we can't afford not to have this entire team on board. Take a look at what we've accomplished so far with your support:
-
The largest cross-party mobilization ever for a midterm election: President Biden authorized a transfer of $15 million from the DNC to bolster our party's House and Senate campaign committees -- and we're investing staff and resources to elect Democratic governors across the map.
-
Organizing in every state and ZIP code: The DNC is currently running its largest in-house organizing program ever -- and it is still growing. Alongside grassroots volunteer initiatives, we're also investing $23 million to support state parties and have funded hundreds of staff on state party payrolls.
-
Voter protection before, on, and after Election Day: We know that Republicans are working to suppress the right to vote. That's why we need to make investements to protect our right to vote. The DNC is already investing $25 million in voter protection, registration, education, and technology.
-
Innovative data and technology built to last: Campaigns need every ounce of help they can get to win votes -- and that includes having effective data and tech. The DNC's Tech team continues to build tools that make data easily accessible and ensure campaigns have the most up-to-date voter information to reach more voters than ever before.
Our party is all in when it comes to winning this year's midterm elections and protecting our Democratic majorities. We have the infrastructure in place, but it's folks like you who make it all possible.
Before Tuesday's end-of-month deadline, can I count on you to donate $7 -- or whatever you can -- to the DNC? I promise you that any amount will make a difference in this fight.
Your support means so much to me and Democrats running for office nationwide. Thank you.
