Jason -- The contrast between Democrats and Republicans couldn't be starker.
President Biden wants to reward work, not wealth. The ultra-wealthy and large corporations would pay their fair share, while tens of millions of families would get the tax relief they deserve and no one making under $400,000 a year would see their taxes increase by a penny. Meanwhile, instead of lowering costs for working families, Republican Senator Rick Scott seems to think raising taxes on working families and sunsetting Social Security and Medicare in five years would be a good idea.
The choice is clear, Jason. It's time to roll up our sleeves and get to work -- and that work starts with electing Democrats up and down the ballot this midterm election cycle who will help fight to create a fairer tax system for families just like yours.
Will you chip in $7 to secure and expand our Democratic majorities this November? Any amount will make a huge difference as we get closer to November's elections.
Democrats are fighting for middle-class tax relief and a fairer tax system. That puts our party squarely at odds with the Republican Party, which wants to continue to give giant handouts to the wealthiest Americans and largest corporations, and Rick Scott's plan that could raise taxes on half of Americans and threaten the future of Social Security and Medicare.
There's no doubt that we have more work to do. To continue to deliver for middle-class families, we need to fight like hell to secure and expand our majorities this November.
If you can, chip in $7 now to help protect and expand our majorities so we can continue fighting to create a fairer tax system.
Let's get to work,
Jaime
