Earlier this year, President Biden adopted the task force's recommendations that promote worker organizing and collective bargaining for public and private sector employees. Record-setting job growth We saw our nation's record job growth continue in April. Under the Biden-Harris administration, 428,000 jobs were created last month, bringing the total number of jobs created since President Biden took office to 8.3 million. That's historic, Jason! This week, President Biden announced that his administration has secured commitments from 20 internet companies to cut the cost of high-speed internet to no more than $30 per month for millions of families. In a world where daily life and work consistently demand access to reliable internet, this is a critical step that will relieve costs for millions across the country.
