Jason, Fifty years ago, Roe v. Wade was decided -- reaffirming basic principles of equality and reinforcing a fundamental right of privacy, the right of each of us to choose how to live our lives. But one year ago, the Supreme Court took away this constitutional right. It was a realization of an extreme ideology -- one with real and immediate consequences. In the aftermath of the Dobbs decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, Kamala and I got to work to protect emergency medical care, safeguard access to medication abortion, ensure people are not penalized for crossing state lines to receive care, and more. And if Congress sends a bill codifying Roe v. Wade to my desk, I have promised to sign it. But right now, across the country, Republicans are pushing their radical agenda, enacting extreme policies to threaten access to basic health care. Jason, MAGA Republicans won't stop their campaign against reproductive freedom until they accomplish their ultimate goal: Banning abortion nationwide. With so much on the line, we must keep fighting back against their extreme agenda. So I'm asking: Will you split a $7 donation between our reelection campaign and the Democratic National Committee now? It's going to take the full support of this grassroots team to keep pushing our agenda forward. Thanks, Joe Joe Biden |
