My story

Today, I'm honored to serve Nevada in the U.S. Senate. Here's how I got here:

Jason, I grew up in a working-class family, the granddaughter of immigrants and the daughter of a World War II veteran. I was the first in my family to graduate from college. I worked multiple jobs -- including as a cocktail waitress at Caesars Palace -- and took out student loans to make ends meet.
