Jason, In light of the Alabama Supreme Court's recent decision, which has severely restricted access to IVF treatments in that state, I wanted to take a few moments to share my story with you. I was only able to have my two beautiful daughters through the miracle of IVF, after more than a decade of struggles with infertility. I am deeply grateful that IVF made growing our family possible, and I know countless more Americans feel the same way. However, decisions like what we saw from the Alabama Supreme Court will only make growing a family even more difficult for hopeful people struggling to start the families they so desperately want. Let's be clear, Jason: What happened in Alabama is only possible because the Supreme Court justices appointed by Donald Trump provided the deciding votes to overturn Roe v. Wade. And because Republicans voted to confirm them to the Supreme Court in the first place. Ever since Trump succeeded in overturning Roe, MAGA Republicans across the country have been inserting themselves into more of the most personal decisions a family can make. If Donald Trump is elected again, there is no question that reproductive assistance through IVF and other fertility treatments would be at even greater risk. That's why I just tried again to get unanimous consent for the Senate to protect the right to IVF nationwide. Unfortunately but unsurprisingly, Republicans blocked it. To protect our freedoms, we need to stop Donald Trump and his extreme agenda. And that means we need to defend -- and expand -- Democrats' Senate majority and win back the House. In order to do that, we need the full force of our grassroots movement behind us. I hope you'll consider making a $7 contribution to the DNC to help elect Democrats who will protect our fundamental reproductive rights. MAGA Republicans shouldn't be inserting themselves into personal decisions about starting -- or growing -- their families. Thank you for raising your voice alongside mine on this.
