  | | Jason, Last week marked the anniversary of the devastating mass shooting in Parkland, and the reality of gun violence is one that we as Americans have tragically become accustomed to. But it doesn't have to be this way. The Biden-Harris administration has taken historic action to enact stricter gun legislation. President Biden signed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, historic legislation that has not only strengthened our gun safety laws, but made significant investments in mental health services and initiatives to enhance school and community safety. This is a critical step forward, but still, there's more we can -- and must -- do to ensure Americans' safety. Together, we're committed to doing just that.
