Jason, it’s been almost six months since the 2025 elections, which means that in Virginia, New York, and New Jersey, Abigail Spanberger, Zohran Mamdani, and Mikie Sherrill have reached the 100-day mark in their terms.

We wrote to you a lot in the lead up to last year’s elections about the work that these Democrats hoped to do to better the lives of their constituents, so we wanted to share an update on their first 100 days in office.

  • In her first 100 days, Governor Spanberger signed bills to lower the price of insulin, establish the first paid family and medical leave in the South, and stop middlemen from inflating prescription drug costs. She’s invested billions of dollars in Virginia businesses, created more than 3,000 jobs, and raised the minimum wage to $15 an hour.

  • Governor Sherrill opened her term by signing a series of more than a dozen executive orders focused on making life more affordable for New Jerseyans. She’s made improvements to New Jersey’s public transportation system. She sued the Trump administration for withholding infrastructure funding and signed executive orders to drive efficiency, transparency, and accountability across state government.

  • In his first 100 days, Mayor Mamdani has secured $1.2 billion in funding for universal child care, won over $34 million in damages on behalf of tenants, and filled more than 100,000 potholes. In his first 100 days, New York City reached record-low crime rates. He has invested millions of dollars in small businesses and appointed a “Mom-and-Pop” czar.

This is what Democrats can accomplish in 100 days.

Jason, one year from now, we will have reached the 100th day of the 120th Congress. That could mean 100 more days of unchecked power for an even more empowered Donald Trump.

Or we could have 100 days of beginning to unravel the damage done by the Trump administration. 100 days of reimplementing the checks and balances that keep our democracy running. 100 days of Democratic majorities in the House and Senate.

We know which option we’d prefer — and we think you do, too.

So, if you’re with us, and electing a Democratic Congress matters to you, please chip in $7 to the DNC today. We’ll put your donation to work immediately to elect Democrats up and down the ballot, across the country — this November and beyond.
