I just got back from rallies with progressive fighters in Tennessee and Michigan. Earlier this year, we were on the ground from Montana to Philadelphia.
We’re taking our movement on the road because supporting leaders running in the most important races is the only way we’ll win the biggest fights.
If we want to pass Medicare for All, get corporate money out of politics, and make billionaires pay their fair share, we have to pull up for the candidates who will vote for those policies in Congress.
Corporate PACs are paying attention to these races. Republican megadonors are paying attention. We have to pay attention, too.
We know that organized people can beat organized money. That’s why we’re showing up to help champions like Justin J. Pearson and Abdul El-Sayed turn out voters.
This is about more than electing individual candidates. It’s about building a working-class movement that will finally bring real change to Washington.
