When we log into our ActBlue account, this is one of the first numbers we see:
$15.29 is our average contribution this month. This campaign is and always will be 100% grassroots funded by people like you chipping in what they can afford. Alexandria doesn’t do call time asking wealthy donors for big checks.
We’re working to reach our $1,300,000 fundraising goal for July before midnight tomorrow. When thousands of people chip in $5 or more, it all adds up and makes this campaign possible.
We never want to scare you into donating — that’s not our style. But we will politely ask: If you can, will you chip in $5 to help us reach our fundraising goal so we can re-elect Alexandria this year?
