Last week, Donald Trump got on television to peddle lies and conspiracy theories about our elections.
Here's what you need to know:
Team, the 2020 election was not stolen. We won, and he lost.
But what is also important for you to know is that what Donald Trump and the Republican Party are trying to do through things like redistricting and the SAVE Act is to suppress the vote and steal power from the American people.
Donald Trump and his enablers in Congress have done nothing to bring down the cost of housing, health care, child care, food, or gas. Donald Trump got America into a war the people do not want.
And instead of trying to address those issues, he instead wants you to believe your vote does not matter; he wants you to lose confidence in our electoral system so you do not volunteer and donate to help Democrats win in November. He knows how much discontent he has sown, and he wants to make sure that you do not vote.
If that makes you angry, I can completely understand.
But I also want to give you the chance to do something about it.
Millions of people donated to my campaign last election. You have stood with me when I needed you most, and it meant the world to me.
Today, I am asking one more time.
