Right now, Democrats are facing opposition from Republicans at every turn.
The GOP voted unanimously against the American Rescue Plan -- a bill that invested in vaccinations, got direct financial help to families, and aimed to cut the childhood poverty rate in half. And if they're going to vote against that, just imagine what else they'll vote against.
Our path forward could not be more clear: We need to protect and expand our majorities so that we can keep turning our bold agenda into a reality. From tackling climate change to reforming our broken tax system, our potential is limitless if we have a stronger Democratic presence in Congress, Jason. And that can be made possible by supporting the DNC's work ahead of their deadline on Saturday.
The DNC is already running organizing, voter protection, and state-level programs that Democrats are relying on to take on the GOP just next year. But their strength and impact depend upon folks like you stepping up ahead of big deadlines like these.
Will you make a $7 donation to the DNC before their end-of-month deadline on Saturday? Anything you contribute will be put straight to use supporting Democrats and building up our party's nationwide infrastructure ahead of 2022 -- a critical year for Democrats and the country.
What our party is able to fundraise before Saturday will determine the types of proactive investments the DNC is able to make before the 2022 midterm elections.
From protecting the right to vote against GOP attacks to supporting Democrats in traditionally red states, there's so much groundwork to lay to expand the map for Democrats. Your donation -- whether it's $5 or $7 -- will make a difference in this fight.
This grassroots team accomplished what some called impossible last cycle, so I have to ask: If you're in the position to do so, will you please make a $7 donation to the DNC before Saturday's end-of-month deadline?
Thank you,
Katie
