Jason, have you ever wondered what would happen if there was no DNC? What would that mean for the 2022 midterm elections? What would that mean for our candidates at every level?
We're gearing up early for a tough election cycle, because we know the importance of winning races this year and next in defending the values we all fought so hard for last year. But I want you to know exactly what things would look like right now if there were no DNC:
- An unprecedented $23 million would not have been invested in state parties and grassroots infrastructure ahead of the 2022 midterm election cycle to prepare Democrats to win in every ZIP code, not just the traditionally blue ones.
- The DNC's new $25 million I Will Vote initiative would not exist -- and the voter education, protection, and mobilization it supports would vanish leaving our party unable to respond to the GOP's all-out assault on voting rights on the ground.
- Organizers wouldn't be on the ground in key states earlier than ever -- or in traditionally red states -- already putting in the work to reach voters exactly where they are.
- Democrats running in seats up and down the ballot nationwide would not have access to top-tier voter information, in a world-class system, that they rely on to organize and mobilize the voters needed to win their races.
The good news is: We don't have to worry about a world in which there is no DNC. The DNC is already working seven days a week to provide Democrats with the strong foundation we need to win from the school board to the Senate. But that foundation is made possible by the full backing of grassroots supporters like you, Jason. So, I have to ask:
Will you donate $7 to the DNC today? Your donation will power the programs Democrats are relying on to win.
Without a strong national party, the programs that we build and the gains that we make as a result of those programs would disappear at the end of an election cycle, forcing Democrats to start from scratch and putting us at a disadvantage against the GOP -- who are extremely motivated to regain power.
But the DNC does not close its doors after Election Day, which means investments made in the DNC don't just fade away a few months from now. They underpin the strategy needed to win in 2022, 2024, and beyond.
Make a $7 donation to the DNC today to invest in the programs that will be essential to Democratic victory not just this year, but in 2022 and 2024 as well. Whatever you're able to give will go a long way in ensuring the longevity and strength of our party for years to come.
Thank you,
Lauren

P.S. It's true. The investments that we make today will have a far greater impact than a donation made just before Election Day. If you are able, please donate $7 to the DNC now to support investments in state parties and the grassroots, key voter protection programs, a world-class data infrastructure, and so much more that Democrats are relying on to win in the years to come.
