Jason -- President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Democrats across the country have made a great deal of progress to get our country back on track.
Today, I wanted to take a moment to highlight what we've done together and what we still hope to accomplish. Then, if you can, please make a contribution of $7 to help elect more Democrats who will build on this progress in 2022 and beyond.
From the moment we took back the White House and flipped the Senate, Democrats got straight to work passing and implementing policies that directly benefit workers and families everywhere. And we have seen historic economic gains, Jason:
-
People are getting back to work: In the first 10 full months of the Biden administration, America added a whopping 5.9 million jobs -- an average of 588,000 jobs per month. That's a big deal!
-
Employees are making more money: Workers have seen their wages and salaries increase 4.8%.
-
Families have more to spend: Household wealth is the highest it's ever been, increasing more than 10% since the beginning of this year.
But this goes beyond numbers: President Biden ran on the promise to rebuild our economy so it works for everyone, not just those at the top. And Democrats are so close to fulfilling that promise with a once-in-a-generation, fully paid-for plan that will continue to lower costs for the middle class and ensure corporations and the wealthiest Americans finally pay their fair share.
Think about what that'd mean for your family, Jason.
The Build Back Better Act will save families money on things like prescription drugs, health care, and housing. It provides universal pre-Kindergarten for every 3- and 4-year old. And it gets folks back to work by providing child care and care for seniors so workers can get back on the job knowing their loved ones have the care they need.
It's clear: Democrats aren't just talking the talk, we're walking the walk. If we want to continue making historic progress, we're going to need to maintain our majorities in Congress. Will you chip in $7 to help elect Democrats everywhere committed to building back better?
Thanks for everything you do,
Lauren
