Jason: Politics is hard -- and progress is never a straight line.
Over the past year, we've seen Republicans spread misinformation and actively wage a war on voting rights. But even as Republicans have been attempting to halt the Biden-Harris agenda in its tracks and take back control of Congress by undermining our democracy -- Democrats have made significant progress.
We've passed the American Rescue Plan without a single Republican vote and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to create good-paying jobs for American families. And we have to keep it up next year.
It's more important than ever that we lay the groundwork to win in 2022 now -- or else we'll risk all of the gains we've made. The DNC is already making critical investments in organizing staff and protecting the vote. Friday at midnight is an important deadline. Will you chip in $7 before then?
Even with all the Republican opposition we've faced this year, we've been able to make real progress. With Democrats in charge, we've accomplished so much in such a short amount of time. We passed a once-in-a-generation infrastructure bill to address supply chain bottlenecks and invest in our roads and bridges, confirmed more judges than any president at the same point in their presidency since Ronald Reagan, and fully vaccinated a total of over 200 million people against COVID-19.
And we did all of this with incredibly narrow congressional majorities.
Look, Jason: Millions of people just like you fought like hell to win elections in 2020 because of how dangerous the Republican Party is, but that danger is certainly not gone. We know the GOP will do anything they can to seize power -- and once they have it, they won't let go. The fight is far from over, and that's where you come in.
Chip in $7 to the DNC to help ensure Democrats in critical races across the country have the resources they need to win in 2022, 2024, and beyond. The final deadline of the year is only days away.
If we want to continue making meaningful progress, we're going to need to invest early and bring as many people into the fight as possible.
Thank you and happy holidays,
Dan Pfeiffer
