In a few weeks, Texas will hold its first major election since the state's sweeping anti-voter law went into effect last year. Republican-sponsored S.B. 1 limits vote by mail and bans drive-through and overnight early voting. The Texas Democratic Party's voter protection team is running a strong education campaign to get more vote-by-mail applications accepted -- and the DNC is working alongside them to run a voter protection hotline, provide state of the art data and technology tools, and more to beat back the GOP's attacks nationwide.
