In collaboration with Black artist Cymone Wilder, the DNC is putting a new T-shirt and tote bag up in our store to celebrate Black History Month -- and we wanted you to be the first to see them, Jason.
Cymone Wilder is a designer and lettering artist based in Nashville, Tennessee. Her work is inspired by the music lyrics, textures, conversations, and the history of the world around her. Much of her work revolves around social and racial justice, and it is an honor to have the opportunity to collaborate with her.
Cymone's design features one of Chair Harrison's sayings -- "We matter, we count, we will be heard" -- which serves as a reminder to honor the contributions and achievements made by Black Americans this month and every month. Check it out:
We must never forget the trailblazers who broke barriers, shattered stereotypes, and paved the way for the next generation. The DNC is partnering with organizers located in targeted communities to keep connecting with voters of color, fight for equal rights, and ensure that Black Americans and all Americans can be seen, heard, and valued.
Head to the Official Democratic Store today to get your own T-shirt and tote bag. Every purchase made will help elect Democrats up and down the ballot who are committed to fighting for equality and justice.
Thank you,
The Democrats
