Earlier this month, I authorized the DNC's largest-ever cash transfer to the Democratic House and Senate committees -- to the tune of $15 million. And that is not all: I'm also working with the DNC to get more staff and funding to gubernatorial races. I hope you'll give me a chance to explain why this is such a big deal, and where you come in, Jason.
As we approach this year's midterm elections, it's imperative that we build the party infrastructure to defend and expand on our governors' seats and our slim congressional majorities. If we're going to fight for a brighter, better future for every American, we need to invest in our grassroots and organize early to ensure that Democrats can compete and win.
I am confident my work with the DNC will help do just that -- and that's on top of their already historic investments in on-the-ground organizing, voter protection, and data and technology from just last year. But we're counting on the backing of grassroots supporters like you to keep making investments like this possible ahead of November 8. In fact, it's the only way we'll come out on top.
You know I hate to ask, but will you chip in $7 -- or even a few bucks -- to the DNC today? Your donation will immediately be put to work supplying Democrats with the resources they need to win this year.
