Jason -- 34 laws were passed last year to make it harder to vote. And the most restrictive of them were passed in Florida, Georgia, and Texas -- states with a Republican-controlled House, a Republican-controlled Senate, a Republican secretary of state, and a Republican governor.
The DNC is already working to get more voter protection staff on the ground, educate and register more voters, and litigate laws like these in court. But if we're going to beat back these anti-voter bills before they become laws, we need to elect more Democrats at all levels of government all across the country.
We can compete in any state if we invest early enough. We launched the Red State Fund to focus additional investments in historically red states and give Democrats a stronger voice not only on issues like voting rights legislation, but across the board. That fund requires your support.
Will you make a $7 donation to the DNC's Red State Fund today to help Democrats win up and down the ballot?
Turning red states blue doesn't happen by accident. It takes time, talent, and energy. That's why our party is making bigger and earlier investments than ever before:
-
Modernizing the organizing process and building up local talent. We're building on the bench of talent from the last election cycle, because there's never been a more important time to develop the next generation of campaign leadership.
-
Strengthening state parties and grassroots infrastructure. We're putting the GOP on defense by building state-tailored programs to flip states through the Red State Fund.
-
Running our biggest initiative to register, educate, and protect voters. We're making it easier for folks to learn how, where, and when to vote by hiring state-based analysts and launching ads -- while continuing to fight back against GOP-sponsored anti-voter legislation.
There's never been a more important time to chip in to the DNC, Jason, so I'm asking: Will you rush a $7 donation to the DNC's Red State Fund today?
Thanks for being a part of this,
Reyna
