Jason, when I won my Senate seat in 2016, it was by a 1,017 vote margin. Yes, you read that right. Only 1,017.
Those 1,017 votes allowed me to be one of the senators who saved the Affordable Care Act in 2017. They allowed me to fight for affordable, quality health care and vote to provide critical relief for the people of New Hampshire and families across the nation.
Those 1,017 votes are also the reason Republicans are trying to take my seat this November. The Senate is split 50-50, and the GOP sees New Hampshire as one of their best chances at taking back the majority. That's why they're throwing everything they have my way. Most recently, an extreme multi-millionaire jumped into the race, pledging millions of dollars to self fund his campaign.
This is bad news. Without a surge of grassroots donors, we won't be able to keep up with a candidate who can drop millions of dollars of his own money into attack ads.
Can I count on you to split a $10 donation between my campaign and the DNC to protect my seat and defend our Democratic Senate majority?
