Jason, I've known Joe Biden for more than 40 years. From our first meeting when I introduced him as a speaker at my law school to helping guide his Supreme Court nominee, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, through her Senate confirmation process, I've seen the president in action up close for decades.
And let me tell you: When he says he'll do something, he means it. Now, over a year into his presidency, workers and families have come so far -- but President Biden and Vice President Harris can't continue building a better America without more Democrats in Congress. That's why I have to ask:
Will you make a $7 donation to the DNC ahead of Saturday's end-of-month fundraising deadline? Anything you're able to give will help ramp up voter protection efforts, organizing programs, and more that will lift Democrats nationwide to victory.
As a Democrat from Alabama, I know a thing or two about what candidates are up against this cycle. Midterm elections are historically more challenging for the party in power, and some folks will want to count this team out. But we have a choice: Either focus on how hard it'll be to defend our slim majorities or roll up our sleeves and get to work.
The DNC is leaving no stone unturned to protect and expand our majorities, making historic investments in state parties and grassroots infrastructure to help Democratic candidates compete and win in every corner of the country. And we can't slow down for a second, Jason.
So please, rush $7 to the DNC before Saturday's end-of-month deadline to help power this work and help elect Democrats up and down the ballot.
Thank you,
Doug
