Hey Jason -- I'm Brad Woodhouse, and I help the DNC reach and communicate with voters to spread our message far and wide. I wanted to take a minute and talk with you about the incredibly important role that Democratic messaging will play in this year's midterm elections.
When President Obama visited the White House earlier this month, a reporter asked him "What do you tell Democrats worried about the midterms?" Without hesitation, President Obama responded: "We've got a story to tell, just got to tell it." And I have to agree with him, Jason.
Democrats are building a better America. Heck, we've gotten 200 million people vaccinated, passed historic legislation to rebuild our nation's crumbling infrastructure, spurred an economic recovery that's created 7.9 million jobs, and more. We have to make sure that we get that message out if we want to keep control of Congress come November -- but that takes a lot of resources and money, and it isn't possible without you.
So, will you chip in $7 to the DNC today? Every penny will help make sure we can connect with voters in every corner of our country.
When Democrats keep an open, honest dialogue with the American people, we can effectively communicate all we've done, and hope to do, to support families and working people. At the same time, it's also an opportunity to highlight a stark contrast between our party and the GOP.
Democrats want to lower your everyday costs, and that includes making sure you can afford your prescription medication. On the other hand, there's a GOP plan that could raise taxes on half of Americans and sunset Medicare and Social Security in five years.
That's one heck of a difference, Jason. But the strength of our message won't mean a thing if voters don't hear it -- that's where this grassroots team can help make a difference.
Chip in $7 to the DNC today, and your contribution will be put straight to work ensuring that Democrats have the resources to get our message out, organize, and win this year.
I'm proud to be a Democrat, and I'm proud of what we've accomplished for the American people. Thank you, Jason.
Brad
