Can we count on you before midnight?
Tonight at midnight is our final fundraising deadline before Alexandria’s primary election on June 23rd. Let us explain:
At midnight we’ll close the books on our pre-primary fundraising and submit a report to the Federal Election Commission (FEC). After that, our fundraising numbers will become public.
Everyone — reporters, our opponents — will be able to see our numbers and will use it as a gauge for the strength of this grassroots movement.
Alexandria is facing two opponents in the Democratic primary on June 23rd. One of them is a former Wall Street banker who doesn’t even live in NY-14.
Our average contribution is just $16. Alexandria doesn’t spend time asking wealthy donors for big checks. We rely on regular, working people chipping in $5 here or $20 there.
If you can afford it, will you donate $5 before our fundraising deadline at midnight? Thousands of grassroots donations have defeated more than $13 million in spending against Alexandria these last few years.
