Today I’m emailing you as Joe Biden’s campaign manager, but I got my start in politics as an organizer. So it’s with firsthand experience that I can say the organizing work we can fund in this final weekend will be critical to whether we can declare victory on November 3rd.

Jason, here’s what we’re hearing from our organizers in the battleground states that will decide this election: - Our volunteers are fired up to elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and they’re having important conversations with their neighbors! But many people still have questions about voting and need help making a plan to vote.
- Despite national polls, on the ground it’s clear that this race is going to be incredibly close in the battleground states. Our internal polling shows a much tighter race in our battleground states.
- Our organizers are finding innovative and safe ways to reach voters, which means a higher investment in digital tools, which can be costly.
- Our team gets thousands of calls a day to our hotline to help ensure voters are able to cast their votes, and powering this resource over the next few days could not be more critical.
Jason, this final weekend is our best chance to turn out every single one of our supporters. But that’s expensive to do, and we need to run more ads, send more text messages, and get more informational materials into the hands of organizers and voters.
That’s why we set a $100 million fundraising goal for October 31, and why we’re still counting on raising $900,000 more from grassroots donors like you in New Jersey before midnight tomorrow to go towards that goal.
