| Jason, with the last weekend before Election Day upon us, this email will be one of the last times I humbly ask for your contributions before the polls close on Tuesday.
But before I do ask you for another donation to power this fight to victory, let me explain why it’s still important right now:
Everything we’ve worked so hard for over the last four years has come down to this moment.
And I know throughout all of this, there have been too many moments when Donald Trump has let you down -- let all of us down.
But here’s the thing: We can’t lose hope -- because I know we can do better and I know we deserve so much more.
That’s why we’re in this battle for the soul of this nation. It’s why we must win this election.
It’s why we need every last ounce of resources to reach every last voter, continue our ground game, keep our ads up, and prepare for any outcome. We can do that if we keep our foot on the gas and stick together.
And, Jason, with our last end-of-month fundraising deadline tomorrow at midnight, I really need you to show you’re with Joe and me: We need $225,000 more from New Jersey today alone in order to meet our $100 million goal. At the Convention just a few months ago, I pledged to you that we will act boldly and deal with our challenges honestly.
And with all of this coming to a close very soon, I hope I made you proud -- and I promise to continue to fight for the issues that matter no matter the outcome of this race.
But right now I need your pledge, Jason -- your pledge to stick with Joe and me until the very end of this fight.
We’re in the final days of this. I know how mighty grassroots donors like you are and your commitment has never been more critical.
I know the next four days will not be easy, but I really believe we have what it takes.
