With just four days left in this election, and more folks casting their ballots with each hour that passes, it's no secret that we're running out of time to make a difference. But what we absolutely cannot afford is to run out of funding to help Democrats everywhere -- Kamala and me included -- get across the finish line in these final four days of this election.
Coming to you to ask for your hard-earned dollars isn't easy for me, Jason, but it's an important part of how we're going to be able to win this race. Tomorrow at midnight, our campaign team is going to take a hard look at how much our campaign and our party has raised before we can greenlight our very final investments. That means the number of calls getting made, texts getting sent, and votes we're fighting for quite literally comes down to what folks like you do in this final moment.
The team at the DNC just briefed me on our progress, and it looks like we can hit our final fundraising goal of this race if just 13 more folks from Metuchen chip in. Please, Jason, will you split a $10 contribution between my campaign and our party?
I believe this election is about who we are as a nation, what we believe -- and maybe most importantly -- who we want to be.
It's about our essence. It's about what makes us Americans. The choice we have before us is that fundamental.
Donald Trump and his administration have had four dark years to chip away at the guardrails of our democracy -- and I fear what could happen if he and his Republican enablers get their hands on four more. Coming up short on our fundraising goal at a time as crucial to our democracy as this one isn't a risk we can afford to take, so I have to ask one more time tonight:

Even if you can only spare a few bucks, your support will play an important, unmistakable role in helping win the White House, a Democratic Senate, and seats down the ballot that will be so crucial to uniting our nation.
